In cs 1.6 recoil was much less random Not as stable as cs source tho But it wasn't random like cs go Spray patterns make cs go much more harder and give it a learning curve but the recoil spread in cs 1.6 was pretty heavy too in some cases
Just because you had to buy ammo doesn't make economy management any harder than cs go since in 1.6 the kill reward for any gun was $300 which makes the economy management debate an apples and oranges debate Just because the radar was crap doesn't mean the opponent's radar was good either Wallbanging required map knowledge so does cross smokes in cs go ,, wallbanging was unbalanced tbh so was bhopping backing in counter strike 1.3 to 1.5 I guess back then you needed a ranking system those days , look at noobtubing in mw2 that also required map knowledge doesn't mean it had an immensely high skill ceiling Reasons why cs 1.6 include 1 In cs 1.6 all you saw people using were m4s , Aks , deagles , usps , glocks etc And other guns weren't even used as much (except mp5) , it was clearly unbalanced and really unforgiving given the underpowered weapons in the buy menu (you could complete eco rounds by suiciding at spawns) 2 since there was no ranking system (except pug and automix hosting services like CAL etc) Competitive pubs would have players with steep knowledge of Wallbanging and bunny hopping Please feel free prove me wrong : ) I just wanna know why cs 1.6 was looked up by so many Is it nostalgia ? |

I never could get hang of any counterstrike series, children on that game always seemed obnoxious
