Following on from a thread of a similar name I have decided to post activity updates on fake server removals.
Hopefully this will go some way to countering the argument that 'we do nothing' or 'GT is dead' It is not the purpose of the thread to be a place to post server reports or complaints. The thread will remain locked for update by GT moderators and admins only as a record of activity. This records bulk attacks only; Individual server reports and results will not be reported here. The mass adding of fake servers appears to have abated. Following a mostly quiet May; In the last few days of May, Approximately 500 fake servers removed with permanent IP bans. 03-Apr-2025 Approximately 500 fake servers removed with permanent IP bans. 04-Apr to 10-Apr-2025 13 Permanent IP bans Estimate in the region of 2000 servers removed.
