I started a Counter-Strike 1.6 server recently, in which I'm developing an unique mod that allows me to easily add more weapons to the game - I believe you won't find another one like this. I decided to advertise it here because it is still empty most of the time. The first time you enter you have to be patient and wait untill you download all the new guns, which depending on how far away you live should take between seconds and 30 minutes, which probably is the reason it is still unpopular, but there is no way to use the new weapons if you don't download them, right?

The IP is 78.90.50.27:27015 and it's online 24/7, excluding when I travel or when there's a blackout or I don't see that the server has crashed to restart it, which doesn't happen very often. The server is situated in Sofia, Bulgaria, so if you live somewhere near you shouldn't have problems with lag.

The new weapons in the spirit of the game are all copies of in-real-life weapons like H&K G36 and FN SCAR, so don't expect to see lasers or blasters I did my best to make them as realistically as possible, but if you see a mistake somewhere just tell me and I'll fix it. For the time being there is only about 10 new guns, but I'm constantly adding more and they will probably reach about 100 in a few weeks

You can't buy the new guns from the original buy menu! There is no way to add them there, or I would have already. I made a new menu for them, which is opened with the wpnmenu command, which you have to write in your console (only works when you are in your team's buyzone and alive). To make it easier you can bind it to a key with the command bind "key" wpnmenu (eg: bind v wpnmenu - binds it to the v-key). Another command that you may need is firemode, for changing the firing mode of some of the weapons (automatic, semi-auto, burst, attached grenade launcher). The firemode command can be binded to a key as well.

After you buy or pick up one of the new weapons, it goes to slot 3 (where the knife is) and has no hud icon, so you can't switch to it with the mouse wheel. You need to tap the key 3 once or twice and then click with the mouse to switch to that gun. You can carry one of the new guns in slot 3 and one of the original guns in slot 1 at the same time (I still haven't found a way to make it possible to carry only one of the two).

The gameplay in my server is close to classic (big maps with hostage resque or bomb defusal scenario), but since some of the new guns are better than the original guns, the gameplay feels a little bit different.

I add 1 new map to the mapcycle almost every day in the order they came out (from oldest to newest) and I periodically remove all boring maps. The map changes every 20 minutes after a vote for the next map.

There are a few fairly strong bots in the server, which are used to have something to shoot at if you are alone in the server while waiting for someone else to enter. The bots are set to go out automatically when more people enter, and come in again when someone goes out.

In order to play in my server you will need a good enough PC, as most of the guns are very highly detailed, so don't expect smooth framerate if you own an integrated graphics card.

Hacking is prohibited, you will receive a permanent ban without warning if you hack!
