Hii Guys
I have recently install windows 8 , Cs 1.6 working fine on windows xp, after installing windows 8 enterprise 64 bit, after playing 5-10 minutes I seen a blue screen with error " ![]() Configuration: OS: Win 8 Enterprise 64 Bit Graphic: Intel G41 Express chipset Processor: Pentium dual core 2.7 2 gb ram I have updated video drivers direct- x 11 installed If I run cs 1.6 in Software mode then its look bad but dont cause windows to shutdown, but if I run in openGL or D3D mode in video it cause the aboove mention issue I found in event viewer The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000007e (0xffffffffc0000005, 0xfffff88003638dd7, 0xfffff8800340d328, 0xfffff8800340cb60). A dump was saved in: C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: 120712-12230-01. but did not find any solution yet please help

Running Win 8 Enterprise 64 Bit on 2GB Ram and a dual core? Seriously? Roll back to Windows XP! Windows 8 64 bit minimum ram requirement is 2-2.5gb's!

Hi jay198409,
Maybe because your PC's specifications are low thats why it is crashing. As you mentioned that it only happens in some video modes so it appears to be a problem of video drivers. I don't know much about graphics cards or drivers but you could try to search on the Internet on this, maybe there are some specific things required by CS or someone else also encountered this problem and has a solution to it.
