Hi, everyone!

I'm working at a cybercafe, we have half a dozen of PCs with CS 1.6 and people that use them are not very honest.

They mainly use a downloaded external program (I think - I'll give more info of this in the next days) to cheat in game, banning the CS accounts and preventing other users to be able of playing the game in certain servers.

I think this program enables the cheats via console... is there any way to prevent its access?

Hi again, I came with more info about this.

I saw them using a program. They search the program in google and download temporarily in the desktop.

How can I prevent them the access to that program? Could I deny them the ability to run it, or even, to block those webpages?

Could you advice me in some way?

It sounds like your best bet is to disable downloads at your cyber cafe. You're looking at a bit of work, but you may want to consider configuring the computer to only allow users to run certain programs (like CS 1.6). Some googling may lead you to the best way to achieve this type of setup.

Just as what Maul said you should consider restricting access to different programs on your PCs.
Everything in CS can be done by the use of commands also some commands and settings can only be done in the console. Most seasoned players only use console for connecting to servers and configuring the game to their feeling. So restricting access to the console is not a good idea.
