Counter Strike 1.6 Home

Hey all,
I am not able to connect to any server using my CS 1.6 client. I tried to ping the server using the ping command in command prompt but it shows request timed out!... I disabled my firewall so that incoming connection isnt blocked but it didnt help either. Can anyone suggest what should I do to fix it? |

Do you use a steam version of counter strike ?
Are you sure the server is not a fake one and have a real players ? Post the ip of the server to see what's the problem. - Please don't PM me since I'm retired, any PM's may go unanswered. |
