Why i cannot connect to my new server, im new here and maybe i dont know how to configure but i cant play it says Error Protocol 47, must be 48 or something like that, plz help me.

I have a question about steam.Do the server you have to have someone like me said "special steam" or just have an ordinary and an account on steam? ...

You have a pirated and old version of counter strike which supports only p47 which is especially non steam, you need to download new version of game and you can do at link which burn gave you in previous post. Hope this will explain you the problem.

I know what to do. If you want to play on the same server without reinstalling your counter-strike switch the video mode to D3D mode.

To do this you have to open half life and do it. Cs will automatically change to D3D mode. It worked for me!
