Well just few days ago i came across very strange problem with css

At css menu/server listins everything is smooth once i join in the server the lag/freeze is extremly crazy although letency remains 30s

CPU raises to 100% and lags the whole pc to the maximum !

Its nothing to do with video card tho other games run as good as they ran before this issue

So asking if any 1 had this problem before! i mean its like slow motion lag freezes every second

Are you sure, nothing to do with Fps?

-It could quite possibly be a bad texture (If you use any skins)

-IDM setting has the IE setting turned on (untick it)

-reinstall (worked for me, but i also bought a new Pc )

I tried everything! i didint adjust anything for this to occur/ and i dont have and skins or anything modified that would couse this!

CPU shows 100% but hl2.exe only shows 6% ussage and 150MB ram

and when whole pc goes like crazy takes 20 sec to task manager to pop out and another 1 min to end hl2.exe process!

I had this problem quite a long time ago, some issues to look for.

1.) Viruses, spyware, malware etc.
2.) Maintenance your computer (Delete old files, programs etc you don't use.)

3.) Are your sound drivers and video drivers up to date?
4.) Check task manager to see what is eating your memory besides the game.

If the problem persists last resort would be to back up your important files do a complete wipe of the hard drive, update everything, reinstall CSS and go from there.

So it is possible to have a specific virus in cs, My Savat you would be to put in a good antivirus and I sincerely hope that you will solve the problem -. ^
