I'm an active player on GameArena Assault servers both 14# and 15# and there are constantly hackers and illegitimate players on these servers with no one around to do anything about it.

Like myself a lot of the other players know that GameArena is one of the worst when it comes to having any administrators around to help so the hackers know they can get away with it.

I was wondering if there was a way to either get an active administrator onto these servers to deal with the problem or is there a way to even become one myself as a lot of the players know me quite well on the servers and I am on these servers everyday.

Any help towards solving the problem of getting rid of these hackers would be greatly appreciated.

Absolutely agree.

I also encounter issues with players using various "hacks" and scripting tools. There is also the usual exploitation of the various game flaws. It's often people from over-seas, such as the UK, USA and Russia that are the major offenders. They all have pings in the high 300 range and cheat indiscriminately.

The Counter Strike Source community is very much still alive, and will continue on for a while to come. We would at least like to know who is running the show and who it taking the time to clean up the mess.

Is there a current ban list? A method of reporting perhaps? An application form for administration duties? I myself would also be interested in an administrative role to keep the peace and keep the cheaters out.

Cheers,
David
