can anyone help me? if i buy the cs source on steam can i play gametracker servers? or i can just play without purchasing? i mean what version im going to use if that's the case.

GameTracker.com does not support non-steam servers for legal reasons, since it is illegal, as you understand.

So yes you have to buy it at steam, in order to play
