I would love to be able to track players on my server, but the current release does not allow us to rename the server as required. Is there any other way for me to be able to claim my server as the server manager?

What are your limits specifically? You have no ability to change anything in it? Keep in mind that all that is required is that the name contains the claim text. It does not need to be just the claim text.
