Hey guys, the server I play on is down, and I have a few questions.

1) How can we take over a server, where the population has never seen nor knows who the admin is to get a hold of them? Our server is growing a bit, and it has some issues that require restarts from time to time.

2) Is there any correlation to shooting down the NPC chopper patrol, and zombie/loot not spawning after the choppers are shot down? Bug maybe?

3) In regards to survivor/bandit built houses, if they are too close to a city, could this cause the loot there to stop spawning? Everyday at around the same times of day, loot and zombies stop to spawn in some locations (usually near survivor built homes), is this a known issue, or could it be something we are doing to cause a bug of some kind?

4) the server only auto restarts at 8am, 12pm, and 4pm EST. I know for sure it does NOT restart at 8pm or 12am EST, I can't confirm the 4am restart as that's too late for me =).. Is this a global issue with origins, or something happening to our server specifically?. It did not start doing this until earlier this week during a server crash, after that, the restarts and loot started to not function properly.

Sorry for the long post, but thank you all for your time. Please let me know if it is possible to take over a server. Our server is growing, and those of us that have been on it for a while would like it to keep moving forward.

i had an email chat from one of my tickets with one of the staff, we may need to find a new server, or rent our own, they cant help with this one unless we can track down the owner.
