My hosts machine has been bugging out for days. Today they told me they're going to swap machines and of course my server will have a new IP. I'm assuming gametracker will see this as a new server and start the ranking over. Is there any way I can link the old server ranking to the new one after the old server is down? The server should be swapped by tomorrow

The only way to "move" rank would be to setup a DNS address on the old server page. To do this, you need to have claimed the server. On the manage page, you can enter a DNS address for the server.
When GT detects an IP change, either checking the DNS' IP once a day or after it goes down, GT will automatically adjust the page's IP. ![]() |

I appreciate the reply. I got lucky and my host didn't actually move my server off the hardware, they did however move a few other servers. So I won't have to worry about this. Thanks again though for the reply.

He was asking me why my server isn't up. My servers are up, have been. Other than the other day when my host had hardware issues the servers haven't gone down. There's the auto reboots every 6 hours, but it's only down a few minutes when those happen. The servers have been up and running great. One server is a test server I use for updates and tests, it's password protected. The other is on my profile favorites on this website.
