Dear community!

We would like to introduce to you our new DayZ-Epoch Chernarus [Back to the Roots] server.

Another server? Really? You are probably going to ask you this question… Yes! We are a group of experienced and passionate players, who decided to take the reins themselves.

Why?

Unfortunately, we had to make the experience that the community on the servers we had played on died after some time. Most of the time the admins stopped their support after a while and the server was discontinued. From time to time, admins also tended to abuse their rights, which influenced the game experience in a very bad way.
By actively supporting our players and our presence on the server, we try to counteract the “death of the server”. Furthermore, we hope that our solid and fair admin support will create a pleasant game experience. In addition, we will hold regular events like death matches or “capture x”.
It already took us a great deal of time and energy to get the server started.


What separates our server from others?

Like other server, we have custom maps available. However, we avoid making hotspots like Northwest Airfield, Stary or Berezino less interesting by plastering fire stations or barracks all over the place.
Furthermore, we decided to increase the prices at the traders. Additionally, you can’t buy medical items, food and drink items and items used for repairing cars from the traders. This helps us to increase the difficulty and also forces players out of their bases.

Besides scripts like “self bloodbag”, “safezone” and “indestructible cinder”, we have added the possibility to continue building after a player’s death at his base without having to remove the plot pole. This saves you from asking an admin if he could remove building parts. You can do it yourself now!

Indestructible cinder / Metal
Deconstruct building parts (you can remove building parts of your base, even after your death)
Safe zones (Bash / Hero / Klen)
Self blood bag
Reduced fog and rain for improved and further view distance
Server restarts every 3 hours
Custom Nights (not always bright full moon night, but also not pitch black)


Special characteristics

Custom map & base spots
Codelock Protection (12 second waiting time after you have entered wrong code)
Plot pole script (you don’t need to rebuild your plot pole after your death, all it needs is a server restart)
There is no safe zone at the Stary trader. In exchange, you can buy your items cheaper and you get more if you sell items than at other traders (PvP is promoted)
AS50, M107, KSVK & Lapua were removed from the loot table. You also can’t buy them.
Self De-constructing of Buildings (the owner of the building parts can remove them at any time)
Foodstuff, spare parts and medical stuff were removed from the trader to harden the gameplay and to promote PvP.
