Hi,

I am not able to scan this server on HLSW (hlsw.org). I would recommend contacting your server provider so they can adjust the firewall appropriately and GT is not blocked.
I am retired from GameTracker after 11 years and will not be responsive for support requests.

I am having the same issue with the scan saying my server is dead.
I run the server on my personal computer, I have good internet.
The server name is =DNP=
IP is: 169.234.89.79:27015

It says its alive for like 15 minutes, but then it says its dead again until i re-scan manually. It is affecting player stats and server rank, and I am trying to fix it but cant.
I use windows firewall, and I have tried whitelisting, but it doesnt seem to work.

This seems to be an IP from the University of California Irvine according to IP information. If you are using the university's internet, are you allowed to host services? If so, have you confirmed whether or not they block any traffic like this? Have you confirmed if the university firewall implements any antiflood measures that may temporarily block the scanner?

Well, the server runs absolutely fine as far as I can tell, and I am pretty sure I am allowed to host services. There isn't a university firewall I know of, except they require Windows Firewall to be running for internet access, so it is.

The best thing you can do is to contact your university help desk. If you are using their internet, I could almost guarantee they have their own dedicated firewall. It's safe to say they have something like an anti-flood measure to block the scanner. Additionally, most universities would not allow you to use their internet to host dedicated services.

Alright then, thanks.
I was wondering if their was any way to use some sort of VPN or proxy to let the scanner work, but I am not sure exactly how that works.
