Hello, My name is Maserati Rick. I am an avid fan of gmod that has played on many dark rp servers. I am also a Reformed Dark RP scammer
that scammed anywhere between 5 million dollars to 70 million dollars of in game currency on each server that i played on in a period of around four months. I have since reformed and now use my creativity to find ways to make money in unique ways, as opposed to unique dishonest ways, and use the knowledge I gained operating fraudulently to inform players on how to avoid scams.

I am making this post because I feel like what I saw doing it was a problem, first and foremost in what I was doing but also in administrators Knowledge of my scams. I would consistently Run Ponzi Schemes, Credit Scams, and would regularly use exploitave Buisness Tactics on gmod and many times the administrators saw what I was doing and ignored it, Not because they didn't care, but because they didn't really know what I was doing and thought I was playing within the rules. I have published an ebook Called From Burning To Earning I am giving away, to help administrators and players become more aware of scams that can occur on gmod, and also show people a way to expand your wealth legitimate and ethically, giving yourself a larger passive income than the game will normally allow you to have with no violence. I also detail other methods to increase your power within the server.

The Link to my ebook is righttttt.....
here!

I hope you enjoy! feel free to post any questions, thoughts, Ideas, opinions about the book, I'd love to hear what you have to say:)

You scammed millions of people in four months?

I'm sure everyone believes this...

I actually never said that and if it is that's a typo. I probably scammed around 80 to 100 people, maybe more. never millions. I scammed millions of gmod money from each server, because I would go on every server rip off around 10 people at a time, who would give varying amounts of money at each server depending on how many people had invested at the time, how much money i had given them back to make it seem legit, their trust level etc.

Right... - Reviewing your thread we can see that you edited it and removed the content (I rarely have typos in my posts - maybe safe to say almost never).

Nevertheless, in common law jurisdictions, as a criminal offence, fraud takes many different forms, some general (e.g., theft by false pretense) and some specific to particular categories of victims or misconduct (e.g., bank fraud, insurance fraud, forgery). The elements of fraud as a crime similarly vary. The requisite elements of perhaps most general form of criminal fraud, theft by false pretense, are the intentional deception of a victim by false representation or pretense with the intent of persuading the victim to part with property and with the victim parting with property in reliance on the representation or pretense and with the perpetrator intending to keep the property from the victim.

What you did was by all means heinous and really shouldn't be something to embrace or to be proud of - I can see that you've explicitly stated that you have changed your perspective and adapted ethical behavior.

I completely agree with you. Thats why i figured I might as well take the knowledge that I have and give it to people so they know how to avoid things like this, and maybe as a result people trying to do stuff like this will not have as easy a time, and hopefully it will help out server owners too who want their players to have a good time. I'm not proud of what i did, and I can't be because its not a healthy road to go down for me or anyone. I hope people also get something out of the part of the book on how to make money ethically, I had quite a lot of success with that and was able to maintain the same income doing that without hurting anyone.

I'm confused how can you scam on Gmod anyways unless you was selling mods lol? I played Gmod many times and never thought there was any type of expoits like that in game

Or unless you was giving out a service on renting servers

lol yeah. If i had scammed a lot of people in real life i wouldn't go posting about it. at the same time though, gmod scams within the game with in game currency can effect a servers well being and traffic, so I wrote this to help server owners improve the gameplay experience for their servers. people have been downloading it so far, if anyone downloaded it from here and are reading this i just want to say thank you for reading it, and i hope it helped you out.
