This game has arguably one of the most skill based fps out there, so you'd think the online community would be thriving, but oh my dear it isn't, far from it actually, the multiplayer is actually dead as hell, and doomed to it's eventual, literal death.

The community sucks ass, cheaters are a guarantee in every match, 99% of servers are empty, the servers that do get populated use AFK not users to push the server up the browser list, but they do not get kicked as more real players join, resulting in both bases having up to four or more AFK bots doing nothing, wasting a player slot.

Very little variety in servers, no innovation or will to do something different, for example there's no server that rotates small maps.

Most of the playerbase are a bunch of fat slime balls who are chronically online and spent their days arguing and insulting others on the chat, you can log in today at 2PM and see the same stinking greaseballs three months after, how do these people play 24/7 only god knows.

I'm not trying to change anything, as I enjoy watching you sacks of sh*t descend into basement dwellers with no hope in life, lmfao, good job on ruining the game though!

To serve old good games like Halo 1 in modded versions or not, and let them be completely demolished by IDIOTS like teamshooters and Wallers and aimbotters, with no reaction and not even answering complains - is nothing but STUPID.

Normally no admin is observing what happens or there can be an abusing admin, perhaps 12 years old or so.

How is the situation at the later versions of Halo, I have no idea cause I only played Halo 1, and later, last about 8 years, Halo CE based on the old well made Halo 1.

Five months later (today) I tried playing again, knowing that I'd most likely end up with the same results from five months ago, almost funny how true my post was.

Same people, on the same servers, racism, sexism and insults on the chat, cheaters roaming free and DDoS attacks, it would be sad if it wasn't hilarious how chronically online these "people" are, imagine how shit their lifes are, lmfao.

Anyway, halo 2 project cartographer seems like a better experience so far, if anyone happens to read this, AVOID halo ce and even mcc, as both are full to the brim with cheaters.

I'm just happy that I grew up to not be a piece of shit obese degenerate like the ones in this game's community.

Halo CE and gametracker is dead? Yeah, what do you expect? This game is 23 years old now.

I recently played again and damn, most of the servers are empty and the servers where I used to play are no more.

Some server-providers are hacking themselves, not least "Aussies" that I for sure know have it all, all cheats.
POQ- the nut named Tecnut, doesent at all care about messages about abusers/hackers.

lmfao. You cannot come back after 20 years and expect to rock the servers and leave players flabbergasted. the majority of the daily players you see have been playing since the game came out. A lot of the players are actually cool if you are nice. If you come in acting like a big shot you will be disappointed. As for cheaters please tell me what online game doesn't have cheaters? Ive been playing since covid and have only ran into 2 consistent cheaters. one of them goes by putaco and i forget the other ones name. If you run into them just go on to another server. Some of the servers have vpn blockers like JLS2 or suicide bomber 4 so the chances of running into a cheater in those servers is very rare. And for some reason players migrate between halo combat evolved and halo custom edition for months on end. So like right now as im writing this the majority of the players are currently on halo custom edition leaving halo combat evolved completely dead idk why this happens. So in conclusion, be nice, don't expect to be a professional killing machine right off the bat and try seeing if the other halo has more players. I hope you give it another shot. Peace
