Yer I seen this, but its really no different to having xfire. Gameranger is renowned for filling your pc with adware and all sorts of crap, so I know I wont be installing it.

I know NOS are working on a masterserver, lets see what they can do.

This is why i've been hanging on to HAC2. I do wonder if they are going to try to force people to use 'revolution' with that. The redone maps are nice but the older guys don't seem to prefer it. Best of luck to them anyhow.

I'm a passionate crysis2 player. I also played for years Halo 1 and 2 on the xbox with friends. We had 2-3 Tv and were in 8-10 to play every monday evening.
Anyway. I organized the petition to save crysis2 multiplayer, and yes I just opened a thread on the unreal forum to ask if it would be possible to keep the game through a mod.

Probably I think everything is possible, and it might also be the case of halo

The only problem I see is that beeing the game free, needs people that work on it for weeks and more. And this person wont get a dollar...

Anyway, I don't know if your community got an answer from microsoft, I didn't get any answer from crytek. Not evena word...

I really need to check out UT. Good to see they're working on a new one. I really did love Crysis2 and feel bad that community is in trouble as well. I regret that i wasn't a part of it. I hope the players can save it. Too bad its all about business for those who are in control of its future..

GameRanger is not the fix for Halo.

I was in the official patch meeting tonight for Halo along with Knewone , several leaders of other clans, two very powerful and knowledgeable moders, and most importantly Roger from Bungie.

A new master list server is up and running and undergoing beta testing. When the fixes are final, everyone will l be able to upgrade just like normal.

You will start Halo, it will look for updates, the update will come down, and you then need to install the update.

Once the update is in place then your game will automatically look at the new master list server which is hosted by Bungie.

Keep watching this post. I will update when the beta is no longer beta and ready for you all to upgrade.

I just spoke with NoS shiro. This is in fact a big deal that will save the general population from the sound of it. I'm just not positive on how exactly. I guess they will be calling it update 1.0.10. I hope all client versions will be prompted for this update.. If you find out more, Post.
