how to join this game?(halflife1)

Anyways, I couldn't attend to this server after I brought the halflife via a stream. So could you tell me deeply how to joy this server?

If you have the IP address of the server, you can join using the console

You can directly set your launch options in steam.

Steam → Games → Games Library → Half Life 1 (right click) → Properties → General → Set launch options (add a space after your last parameter) and then -console



Once it has been configured, search for the tilde key on your keyboard and press that key to open your console.

The tilde key is usually located on the left side of your keyboard below the ESC key.

Once you've opened the console, use the command - 'connect (IP:port of server)'

In the command, exclude the brackets etc, i.e Do not use the ( ) / ' '

Here's an example of what you need to enter in the console...

connect 193.123.194.12:27015

I assume that you could not find the server in the Half-Life server list.
