its been 2 months i am having lag problem ,when i join any server the ping just goes to 400 to 2000+ never used to happen this before

Hey anvay!
Reinstalling your Operating System will be a temporary solution and you will want to install programs in it which is not a crime but some programs also install their sub programs which run in the background.

If at first you are able to play perfectly but then as weeks or months pass by the lag increases then it means that other programs have been installed in your PC which consume the resources which are required by the game.


There are two aspects of it.

First is the PC's processing power. You may have installed Anti Virus Software or some other programs that run in the background and consume much needed resources. Click on Start and then Run. If you use Windows 7 then just click on the search bar in Start Menu. Type msconfig and press enter. System Configuration Utility with open. You need to look at the Services and Startup Tabs.
Disable all program that you feel are not needed. Try Googling the names of the processes if you don't know what they are for. BE CAREFUL! Do not disable Microsoft's important services, better hide them in Services Tab.

Second is Internet Resources and Bandwidth. Do not run any download programs such as Torrents, Download Mangers and Software Updates. Stop all updates before playing the game. Also do not try to multitask while playing the game such as having Facebook open in the background and while you pause for a while in the game you go and check Facebook. That reduces all kinds of resources a LOT.

This should solve your problem. And lastly the best idea I can give you is to get a new powerful PC.

thank you guys for repling i disable some programs and the lag got lowed to 300 ping to 500 ping ,now i need to reinstall my system

Glad to help!
Just this time only install programs that you seriously need. A good free to use and not so much power hungry antivirus program is avast!. Download from > http://www.avast.com/
Also if the programs give you the option to chose automatic updates then turn it off and better select Notify Me First before Downloading Updates so that the download dose not automatically start while you are playing the game.
