Hello,

Below is our server info:

http://www.gametracker.com/server_info/84.40.75.243:25555/

The Querry port is: 25900

MC version is: CraftBukkit version git-Bukkit-1.5.2-R0.1-1-g53734d2-b2774jnks (MC: 1.5.2) (Implementing API version 1.5.2-R0.2-SNAPSHOT)

In server.properties:

enable-query=true
server-port=25555
query.port=25900

The ports are opened since the server cannot be scanned and is showed as dead only when more than 50 players are connected.

At the moment: 73 players are connected and more than 70Mbps upload and download bandwidth is available. Server is shown as dead and cannot be scanned.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Some minecraft servers have been known to stop reporting players after about 128 were on the server, but I have not heard it happening for so much less. I would recommend trying to update scan parameters from the manage page when the server is showing as down. If it does not scan, it is most likely an issue with the server. I will try to scan it if I see it down as well.

I just scanned it right now when it must have greater than 50 players and the scanner can scan it, but is waiting for more data from your server so it will continue to show it down, considering there is not enough to show on the page.

Hi,

Thanks for your checks.

I have checked in our logs and were unable to find any errors regarding GS4 status listener except that it started successfully.

Do you think we can do anything on our end or any workaround to this issue?

Thanks in advance.

As simple as it may be, you can try restarting the server.

I'd also recommend looking into any plugins you are running. I know the plugin MCPC+ has changed the query protocol in the past.

You might also double check that traffic can access all of the GT scanners, so you may try whitelisting them in your firewall:
208.167.241.179
208.167.241.180
208.167.241.190
108.61.78.147
108.61.78.148
108.61.78.149
108.61.78.150

Hi,

Thanks for your suggestions and help.

Early this morning (Local Time) we had to stop almost all of the equipment to add UPS. So the server is now restarted.

Also I have whitelisted the above mentioned IPs in our firewall and checked that we are not using any query plugins.

Now we are waiting to see how it will be when more than 50 players are connected.

Thanks.

Hi,

However the issue is persistant. At the moment 98/100 players and 64Mpps download / 75Mbps upload available.

Hello,

For Minecraft, we use the following specification: http://wiki.unrealadmin.org/index.php?title=UT3_query_protocol

Your server never returns "Packet 4: Server information response". This could be related to your minecraft server configuration, or perhaps configuration somewhere between your server and GameTracker. I can't give you a definite cause of the problem.

Once GameTracker starts receiving the full packet stream for the Minecraft query, your server will begin scanning again.

Best regards.
I do not provide support over PM. Please ask your questions on the GameTracker forums.

Hello,

After deeper research on our Minecraft configuration - it appears that we have managed to resolve the issue by changing "query-plugins: true" to "query-plugins: false" in our bukkit.yml file in the main server folder and rebooting the Minecraft server.

You were correct - it appeared that the faulty configuration was on our end. Now the server is shown as online with 78/100 players currently.

Thanks a lot. Your help was highly evaluated and appreciated.
