My guess is this is a first step in preparing for the Steam box.

So instead of making a steam console they finally woke and realized they just needed to make a more living room console friendly interface. Way to go geniuses, but i already beat you to the punch ive had a quiet gaming desktop pc running steam in my living room for years! And using wireless xbox controller with an adapter that no one seems to know about. So for all those who lack the creativity to think for themselves there go, still about time steam and it will be like a next gendx11console
