Call of Duty: Ghosts. To be released November 5.

"As expected, Activision has officially announced Call of Duty: Ghosts. Set for release on November 5th, Ghosts comes from original Call of Duty studio Infinity Ward and will hit Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC in addition to being 'available for next generation platforms.'

According to Activision, Ghosts 'delivers a riveting all-new gameplay experience built on an entirely new story, setting and cast of characters, all powered by a new, next generation Call of Duty engine that redefines the series for the next generation.'"

On the "all new engine" comment. I call foul.

I can't imagine they've replaced their entire development pipeline in the last two years while restaffing the studio with all the transition at Infinity Ward.

I'm sure no matter how hard activision want to outrun the ea still cod can't be better than battlefield.

Since i'm lover of cod just for singleplayer mode i'm going to bou it but don't expect too much.

This game will be great for PS3, and Xbox360, but PC will most likely get kicked to the curb with lack of public ranked dedicated server files for hosting as well as mod support like usual...

Oh well looks like we will just have to wait for Four Delta One to support this the way it was meant to be made.
