The basic philosophy of Boa's Rust is essentially a vanilla server with mainly informational mods. A "true" Rust experience is the goal where things don't come easy and it is often a struggle to thrive. This, in my opinion, is where Rust truly shines. Teleports, 100x gather and sympathy from the admin when you get yourself stuck in the rocks does not happen. You will get shot, you will be raided, you will lose everything, this is the foundation of Rust. If you want something other than "true" Rust, this is not the server for you. The admin plays as a player, 100% legit, un-biased and welcomes player aggression in the spirit of the game. Let's not forget, Rust IS A GAME, GAMES SHOULD BE PLAYED FOR FUN! In other words, if you raid me, I won't go god-mode and annihilate your base. I've logged 2000 hours of play in Rust (legacy and new)...I can handle Rust and never make it personal...can you!?

Boa's Rust Map Was Wiped October 1 Due To Development, As Were All Servers. Boa's Rust Has Also Wiped BPs.

CURRENT MODS/OXIDE PLUGINS

◾Building decay at 50% normal

◾Airdrop Control (Custom Loot Tables, no more stone tools and rotten meat)

◾No Rad Event (Rads go offline for a short period after server announce)

◾Human NPC Encounters OFFLINE PENDING MOD UPDATE (most are hostile, but some are friendly and give items, all are killable/lootable)

◾Notifier (ie Player Logins/Logouts, Admin/Player List/Server Info/Rules)

◾Death Handler (ie Bob shot Jim in the arm with a Thompson at 10 metres)

◾Player Rankings/Stats (ie Kills (player & animal), Deaths, Kill:Death Ratio, Rank)

◾Rain of Fire (a plugin that spawns occasional meteor showers that can kill players but drops lootable stone & metal frags)

◾In-Game Clock (shows the current Rust world time)

◾Mumble Server (VOIP server similar to TeamSpeak, but free...and better IMHO!)

◾Custom Stack Sizes

CURRENT SCHEDULED EVENTS

The server holds a Free Hourly Supply Signal Event, usually on weekends, but not every weekend. The loot tables are tailored to suit the current period, in other words chances of C4 and high threat items are low in the first week but scale up as the month progresses. Check the event schedule in the Steam group.

The servers holds a pre-wipe event the day before forced wipes.
