now i didnt see any server to play online, i can join via IP Direct but i need the IP of server to enter in the game, why i cant see the servers online now? :S Help me Plz

Hello,

GT may show the server as offline when it cannot scan the server. You need to ensure that the port is open. This may be in your firewall, router, or both.

i was playing and later i log off few hours later i enter again and i didnt see anyserver but anyways, what ports i need to open?

It seems like currently the swat-master-server is offline (hosted by gamespy I guess), so it's not possible for anyone to see server in-game in the server list. Anyway joining via direct IP or tools like gametracker should work, at least if the server is not password-protected. Hope this is just a temporary problem and not a general shutdown because of the age of the game.

Ya something is definitely down your right foobardragon. Also some servers are appearing offline ( Via gametracker )

Hi there, I have noticed that in the main list, at the beginnig, the ood numbers are out...then at the end until number 45 the servers with pair numbers also are out...maybe a region thing or something? :S

Seems to me like servers with a password are shown in gametracker as down. They are also not reachable via direct IP. And xfire also shows them as offline.

There is an online petition to convince GameSpy Tech to keep on running the master server. Probably it won't be enough to convince them, but it could be a start to negotiate about the payment of the master server by the swat community.
