Yes.
I presume you are running your server from home? You need to enquire of your ISP about this, or find an ISP that will provide one. 'static IP' is the correct term. I am a community user. You need to ask your ISP about the possibility of having a static IP assigned.
However it looks like you're hosting from a home DSL connection, something that is likely against your ISP's terms (seriously, look it up sometime); you may have to purchase a business package from your ISP. This is one of the reasons why it's easier to simply purchase hosting from a GSP. |
