Teamspeak 3 server (not client) outdated

Hey.

I was told that TS3 servers were 'supposed' to update automatically. But, when I join my own Teamspeak 3 server that came with my HaloCE server I get a message saying:

The server is outdated.

The following features are known not to function properly:

•Certain Characters in text messages are transmitted incorrectly

I tried restarting it hoping this would trigger it to update. No success. Is there something I need to do to update it or is there an error with it?

This is a bit of info i received regarding this issue:

Most software comes in two branches: A stable branch meant for general use, and a beta branch, used for testing new features and fixes. Confusingly, TS only has one of these -- the beta branch -- and it has been seeing frequent releases, each fixing some bugs but causing new ones, and each without guidance on whether it is considered stable enough for serious use.

With the most recent client release (beta29), the authors of TeamSpeak apparently chose to deprecate older servers versions, via a warning message in the client. They did this in parallel with another beta release of the server (beta28 )

Give it a few days i imagine your host like mine will update the servers

Hope that helps:)

Cheers
