I have been in game and seen where it looks like there might be a cheat for adding to your frags or doubling them or stilling them from the other players. I hope I am wrong about it but if anyone know about it can they please email me about it and that way I can do something about it . It isnt fare to the other players if this is really out there. I have been all over the net and I guess still to new at online gaming to figure it out. Any help would be nice.

Player frags/score data is controlled by the server. There isn't anyway to hack the score without hacking the server itself, and I have never heard of nor seen such a cheat.

There are many different kinds of scoreing mods/mutators though. These are installed by choice of the server admin. Also be aware that UT itself has an "alternate scoring" option. This method will take a frag from you every time you die, regardless of the cause. This is not a hack it is an option built-in to UT and can be enabled by the server admin.

When I first saw this I was the same thought as you, but yeah you can screw with score from client. It took me a while to figure out how this person was doing it but I tested it and I can confirm.

On a positive note I haven't seen it again on the Monsterhunt servers and the player stopped doing it after the HoF bans.

I know of several players who cheat just to move up in ranking on the server.Anyway these players have been cheating on and off for months now,and i wish there were some way to remove their total score,and start them over at 0 because other players who like the server and have added maps ,and have played on it for 5 years are pissed off about it.The admin kickbans them when he can but they keep coming back,and changing their names,and have different ip addresses when they come back.

When the same player ip address is different than when they came on before ,and changes again,does that mean they are cheating?

That doesnt mean their cheating but The Only way you can get rid of these trouble players fo good is to have IP To Country running on your Server which enables you to Directly BANNING the player using their Country and Internet Provider
Itself only thing is those players in that country and with that Internet Provider get Banned also so the Admin would need to edit the IP Allow with a Players IP Address from the Country and Internet Provider to allow them to play in their Server.
