SERVER BLOG POSTS
If you’ve been playing Halo Custom Edition for a while and think you’ve seen it all—think again. The [invid.au] Invidious Public Halo Server #1 is one of the most innovative and entertaining servers you’ll find on GameTracker, and here’s why it stands out from the rest.

1. AI Bots That Actually Feel Alive
Unlike the static or scripted bots you might have encountered elsewhere, this server features AI-controlled bots that look and behave like real human players. We’re talking about bots with names like Killer, Pirate, and The Big L, who not only join matches with visible ping like real players—but also shoot, perform melee attacks, and actively engage in combat scenarios. While not perfect, their behavior is far more dynamic than you'd expect.

2. Custom Coded AI System
These bots aren’t just dropped in using basic scripts. They’re powered by a fully custom C++ backend, running in isolated virtual environments on Proxmox. This technical setup allows the bots to interact with the game in unique ways—reading memory, injecting inputs, and simulating real-time behavior. It’s a crazy level of effort and innovation that you rarely see in CE servers.

3. Always Active, Always Engaging
Even when there aren't many human players around, the bots keep the matches alive and fun. You can jump in anytime and get a solid Halo experience without waiting for a full lobby. Whether you’re into Slayer, King of the Hill, or Capture The Flag, there’s always action waiting.

4. Ongoing Development & Future Plans
The creators behind Invidious have been working on this system for over a year, and while it's already impressive, they’re not done yet. There's ongoing work to improve bot performance, reduce CPU load, and even plans for a possible hosting service where you could rent access to your own AI-enhanced Halo server.

5. That Classic Halo CE Vibe, with a Twist
The gameplay still retains the classic Halo CE charm—but with the added chaos of unpredictable AI enemies who will absolutely chase you down or sometimes, hilariously, walk into a wall (hey, no one's perfect). It adds a layer of fun and unpredictability that makes each match feel fresh.

If you haven’t checked out [invid.au] Invidious Public Halo Server #1, you’re missing out on one of the most technically fascinating and downright entertaining experiences in the Halo CE multiplayer scene.

See you in the server!
