I absolutely love the whining and complaining by those who have never invested a single minute to provide a venue for gamers to enjoy. We (OTaC) are a PRIVATE SERVER clan, meaning that we fund the server, website and any other tools that we use, we look after the day to day running of the server and website and we welcome responsible, respectful players, the same as we have been doing since 2006.
It amazes me that those who haven't invested a single minute in any form of entertainment for the FPS gaming community have the unmitigated impudence to suggest that we, as a gaming clan, do not have the right to restrict annoying and childish behavior on OUR server. We pay for it, we administrate it, we fix it, it is ours. You don't like that, well ain't that just too bad. Go get a life and grow up!
If you got banned then you deserved it, whether you like it or not. We do review bans (ie pocalypse) and remove the ban if it wasn't documented correctly, or if we feel that there wasn't a soild reason for the ban.
We have recently updated our admin team and we have a leadership team that monitors and reviews admin and the procedures to ensure that our admin are doing the job that we installed them to do.

As for players/guests like unmatching who hacked and destroyed our very old website, we are going to have the last laugh pal. Have patience, it's coming ;)

I'm going to be honest with you here; I did play on and off for years in this server and even donated anonymously. But however, at the time I never understood why my some my friends who use host some community servers on this game when it was relevant, never liked this server at all and I always wonder why. But until one day, I was dominating for a couple games, until I got the message stating that I was perm banned from this server. I was completely confused on why I was banned and nobody told me to tone it down for being too sweaty or to match the general skill-level of the enemy team. So, I made a ticket to explain myself on why I didn't get told to slow down with the kills and dominating the hole match and still was following the rules without reaching the limit by 30+ plus kills. One of the admins named wildturkey who was in that match at the time quickly responded claiming that I was using "aim bot" that I was proceeding to dominate more than one match at a time, I was confused as hell why this admin would excuse of something that I never did or used. I did had evidence of my clip showing that I was just being a very skilled player and didn't want to cause any trouble or break any rules to their liking. But this admin kept being a dickhead saying that I was full of shit, refused to admit his wrong warn and even doubled down on saying i was "full of shit" when it wasn't called for when i was simply pointing out my accidental good aim and the fact i did apologize (Telling him what to do, when it was a suggestion he should check the evidence to see that i was right). Instead, he doubled down like i said, "you're full of shit". He was acting like an asshole and went on a power trip because he would have been proven wrong if he did the bare minimum to look at evidence, like he said he could, and he would have seen he was wrong. The fact i was treated like trash still and not given the decency for staff to make sure and check if i was lying or not, is crazy. OtaC comes off completely unprofessional and takes this game too seriously because it's been around for nearly 20 goddamn years that is not popular anymore. I'm just a normal; competitive guy that just wants a place to play and is willing to play by the rules and keep the teams balanced - a good sport but I was treated like ass, and the admin refuses to see the evidence just to be proven wrong is wild.

I'm not here to debate how you make your rules or if they are based in a different reality. But this server actively negates the work we do to try to bring in a new player base. We would all be better off if you and every other pub server that has rules based not in reality to just put a password on your server and be done with it.
Can you imagine someone just bought the game, enters your server- because it's that time of the day. Then just immediately has this very odd interaction with a server where you can't use most in game actions? You guys only care about yourselves and your server.

for all the criers on here bashing the server, I've beenm playing here since it was started and I love the server. I owned an I-cafe until 2010 and we had great times playing crouch servers. I also had a billiard hall, people used tro come in and complain that the tables weren't green cloth, guess what, they're mine! Don't like it, build your own hall! Much as they complained, no one ever did build their own. Case in Point, if you don;t like the server, find or build another. Instead of crying about the rules because they're not to your liking, build your own with your own rules. If not, then just follow the server rules and accept it is what it is. I know players who are in their late 60's and early 70's who still play here and they can follow the rules so don't make it like they are crazy or to hard to follow or restrictive. They're not, you're just spoiled and want it your way. If you were kicked, chances are you kept breaking the rules because you refused to follow them. And most of them are just admins of and old members their own group and ban anybody who brings down the mood like by no pistol outside which btw this is everything being on hardcore and one shot equals one kill. Or how about "kill limit" aka the amount kills that you can only have until you get kicked....

I wouldn't agree or go as far as to hack the website BUT most of these admins break their own rules all the time in a daily basic and still get away with it which is already a big red flag. The only ego-driven actions that I see is the admins themselves taking this old computer game way too seriously act like a bunch of whack job power trippers. And you know who else was a well-known whack job power tripper that had immense power once?

If you only focus on integrating your own people into the server instead of alienating hard-earned players with your ego-driven actions, you shouldn't be surprised if you only read negative comments here. I was banned today by wildturkey because i was stopped, trying to figure out the key for the Dogs. i stopped for less than a minute thats for freakin sure and he was on my arse like a fly to fecal matter.
