Thanks guys, but I already chose my a PC that I'm going to build. I'll break down what I want for you guys to critique.
CPU & MOBO(I like AMD) http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.693504 Case http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811147153 Win 7 OEM RAM (I'm going to get two of these for 16 GB) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231311 PSU http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139005 GFX http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127521 I already have a 160gb WD sata HD, and a 1tb external WD HD, so Im covered there, I'll rip the disk drives out of my comp. But I just wanted this to work so that in the interim which is the next couple months till about January I could play my games with a couple extra fps. But oh well, guess its just not gonna work for me is it. |

Hmm heres my problem:
I'll be playing uo and minimize to open ts, as soon as I double click on the ts icon, my uo sounds immediately switch to the laptops speakers and I can only hear ts on my headset. This is really not good as I I usually play uo when everyone else in my house is asleep so Im forced to use a headset (and not talk) at all times. |

don't minimize TS, you can just leave it open and open cod. If its not the main window click on it to bring it to the front.

;) And another thing with The Dark Screen on UO
you need to make sure that UO is set to your laptops Screen resolution. So do this Right click on your laptop, go to properties>settings there should be a bar and underneath that bar it should have what your screen resolution is, now depending on the size of the screen on your laptop your resolution will be something like 1280 x 800 or 1280 x 1024 if thats the case you then need to go into you UO options and go to graphics and Change the screen resolution to match your desktops or as close to it as you can get. |

You can set up a custom screen resolution in UO. Go into the UO main folder. In there you will see a uoconfig_mp. Open that with notepad. Then use the find tab, and find
seta r_mode "random number here" change that number to -1. This allows the game to use a custom resolution. Then find seta r_customheight "random number" and seta r_customwidth "random number" you then fill in the numbers you want. For example, my laptop's native resolution is 1920X1080 1920 is the width (widescreen) and 1080 is the height. After editing all the configs make sure to save the notepad. Close notepad and start the game. Your resolution should now be set up to your custom resolution. Let me know if you need more help. Murderer ![]() |
