We have a Tank Training today @3pm. It is to prepare for the next Tournament. We need 10 BE's if we get less we can use Pubbers. See you all there, NO PRACTICE, NO PLAY!! There will be 2 more practices. On sunday same time, 3PM EST and again before the tournament Monday starting at 7 PM EST! Try to make at least 1 if you are participating in the tournament!

In other news... this is why January's Challenge is named Monte Cassino:

"In January 1944, the Allies found themselves confronting the Winter Line, which prevented their passage through to Rome. In order to follow the highway to Rome between the mountains, the Allied Forces tried to reach a little town in the Cassino mountains, from which they could have a very good view and a strong defensive position. However, things did not go as planned. The Germans counter-attacked and there were numerous victims.

The Battle of Monte Cassino was a costly series of four battles, which first began on the 17th of January. The appalling terrain was a real problem for the Allied forces, who tried to push forward in these sharp mountains and large river landscapes."

It includes battles from the first tanks to present and gives tactical insight as well as the general story from both viewpoints. I've seen WW2 vets give their views up to those from Desert Storm I believe. They're starting out a new season starting out tomorrow night.
