So far of the new maps i have only seen one that was alright and thats Battery. The others took an instant disliking with imbalanced locations for certain sides and also the other 2 makes are both extremely heavily spawn killing maps more so then Downfall when spawning on the steps from what i experienced and saw.
Just my opinions of them so far. |

i see only battery and breach...i'll wait to say my opinion, btw the waiting time between spawns it's not good!! Pls Willi remove it as in the past

Everyone knows how I feel about this game, I can't wait for MW2 to be released.
There is no map/maps ever and I mean EVER that was worst for spawn killing like Downfall, Cliffside and Roundhouse. I can't believe that a patch that was 1.2 gb in size didn't address these problem maps. The last 2 days I have spent dying and spawning and I can't say I was spawned killed in any of these maps like any of the maps that came with the game originally. These latest maps have much better protection for the spawning players. Battery is a "run and gun" map but spawn suppression is easier. Revolution (for the most part) provides protected spawn areas and multiple ways to exit the spawn points. Breach is the largest of the three maps and will take a few more days to really be Analyzed correctly. It tends to favor snipers but even the snipers can't see the spawning players. But so far I didn't see any unprotected spawn points in Breach. It seems like the spawn logic (in the latest maps) has addressed the original problems with the first maps. Of all the times I respawned in the new maps, I was never killed without first leaving the spawn area. Having said that: I don't understand why this patch was 1.2 gb in size. There are still settings in the config that don't work. There are mods that are less than 8mb in size that address so many issues and these morons can't get right with 1.2 gb. The maps are refreshing. So far they have lasted longer in the rotation than some of the other maps in the previous map packs. They are better than what I expected. The best barometer is the players on the server. We'll take it one day at a time. ![]()

1st impression: i like these new maps, they all good, but for "war" the best of the 3 are battery and revolution, breach is a great map for me, but not so great for war. It's a huge map, i's expected that the first flag was fight under brandenburg gate, not on the flank...so the "action" is shifted in a less interessing part of the map.
If the flag was under the gate the action would be in the middle, a face to face between the two team under the gate... btw, i like all 3 maps |
