Edit: Map crashed while playin' with bots, so I removed it. Nice map though -> I hope there'll be a bug-fix soon.

Here is the fix, seems like I accidentially grapped an old version for the last upload.

I played it with some Inhuman bots until the core died, so it should run fine.

Renamed to "-Edit1" to prevent version conflict and loaded. For testing purposes, of course.

I passed it to Omni's Wrecking Crew and they found that the map posts 3 warnings into the log because I accidentally used the ShieldPickup instead of the ShieldPack, and the Pickup is abstract, so it shouldn't be able to spawn.

i like the new version a lot better than all the previous ones... think all the major issues have been solved and there is the possibility for a comeback now in case ppl concentrate on attacking.

didnt recognize any spamming today and I myself died alot as well - from any weapon. therefore map itself seems very balanced now! let's its stays this time.

I also asked the holy Wail (of Suicide) if I could participate in the EONS project. We already made plans how we could easily get most of the UT3-pickups easily to UT2004. We also came to speak about the Jumpboots, which we would like to take as they are in this map already, but Wail wanted to do some coding work before so that they trigger only at double jumps. When he's done with that code, then I want to re-release it again because it's somehow strange that you mustn't jump currently to save your big jumps for later.

The rest of the EONS-stuff should only be used in completely EONSnized maps. But I also want to introduce a new kind of Hellbender when we have done more in that project… a very special Hellbender…

Changes:
-Improved performance! That's mainly due to closer distance fog which blends better with the new skyring I created. However, the skyring gives this map a slightly darker look, like bad weather at the horizon. But the lightmap size has also been reduced.
-New Node! I changed the linksetup considering the new node, it should be easier to hold some nodes now and the Z-axis gains importance in the game.
-Because of that, I changed location and number of jumpboots, they are more important now.
-The gaps on the roof between the center nodes is closed now. This should force more players into a direct battle instead of taking the sneaky way from above. The place is still accessible with jumpboots or if you invest some time, though.
-New U-Damage. Nobody should live long enough to turn the whole game with it, but it adds some more drama into this.

couldnt spot the jumpboots-locations right away with all the hectical gameplay but i instantly saw u jumping vertically at that high node, impersonating a good turkey... my lightning gun said THANKS =P


as i already mentioned: 1 out of 3 times i spawn on the GROUND (right at DoubleDamage) at the middle node (as i recall node 1) - but there is NO weapon locker at all! i was an easy target for the fully loaded guys who went thru there -.-

plus, i think the new node makes it close to impossible to get a good comeback, since like half the team already spawns on the pipes, making it easy to take down enemy constructing nodes quickly... i say REMOVE it!
