add me sail: VRRROOOOOOMMMM

and yeah i got the online to work now. I had an account and everything so it wasn't that. I turned my firewall off and ran the BFBC2Update thing and it works now. It still takes forever for the server list to populate though.

After the most recent update I have had to refresh the server list to get it to populate.

Hope they get that worked out.

On the filter tab, I think an option for HC would have been helpful instead of reading the server names or looking at the server details for HC.

LOL. Until I read your post, I wasn't aware that there was a hardcore mode. : ) I like the hardcore much better than the regular mode. The pistols are much more effective and snipers are really deadly.

I have a friend invite out to P and Hooligan. Anybody else playing, let me know your ingame id so I can send an invite. My characters are finally getting enough equipment to make them more competitive.

It's funny, I went back to play MW2 and after a couple of minutes shut it down. Now they anounced that the "new" (aka 2 old maps) mappack will cost $15. Eff that!

I was wondering if the server hosts have the option of turning off the vehicles. Some of these maps would be great without any vehicle.

See ya ingame.

Ha yeah the map pack is supposed to be out around March, and I think I saw that BC2 was releasing their own map pack on the same day? That and BC2's will be free. SLAP TO THE FACE MW2!

The BC2 new map pack doesn't have new maps I don't think, just adds different game types to existing maps. Lame. Apparently they are releasing camo sets for the different classes that you have to buy.

Also, they said that in the future they will charge for new maps and such... so yeah, gaming is starting to become a pain in the ass

The original game came with locked maps in the code. The map pack is unlocking those maps. And, yes, charging for DLC in the future is a way to make more $$$ for these greedy bastards.

Gaming is still a lot cheaper than my sailing and sports car addictions.

Made a new post yesterday that didn't show up yet. Anyway, my GPU is dying from the stress of BC2. I can only play for 10-15 min before it shuts down. Even when it does run, the graphics are really deteriorating. I can smell the GPU burning whenever it is OC'D. It's so frustratign that I haven't even bothered going on-line lately.

Yesterday I ordered an Asus P7 Ultimate MoBO and I7-930 CPU with a 100w power supply (Tiger Direct with 10% Bing cashback). Should be here by the weekend. Was looking at the new Fermi cards but the 5870's are coming down in price. May get one now (Sapphires and HIS look good) and add a second one in SLI later. I think Fermi cards are going to have availabilty problems for some time to come. Maybe I'll add a fermi 480GTX as the second card in SLI. Can you do that? : )

As long as the MOBO and the GPU's are SLI compatible it should work.
