Did you install the linksys wireless utility?

If you installed the linksys wireless utility follow these steps:

1. Unplug the adapter from the computer.
2. Uninstall the linksys utility.
3. Restart the computer.
4. Plug in the adapter.
5. Reinstall the drivers using the found new hardware wizard.

The drivers for the card are available in the drivers folder in CD setup.
Do not install the linksys utility, let windows handle the wireless network.

If that doesn't work we'll try something else.

I dont think I have it installed but im really not sure where to look either...

Just to get this straight before I do anything. On the add/remove programs thing it says the adapter thing, but doesnt say anything about Utillity...Should I uninstall and do that process? Or run the link?

Well... that makes some sense as this seems to be a common complaint with Vista.

Very first thing is let Vista find the latest driver for the network adapter:

1)Right click on My Computer and go to Properties
2)Go to the Device Manager
3)Click the + next to network adapters
4)Right click on the network adapter click Update Driver Software... let Vita find the best driver.
5)Reboot and see if this helps.

Ok, well I tried the update but it found nothing, so I went to the link

When I got to step 5, I type that in the command line, but it says I do not have sufficient privileges or a group policy is apllied.

How do I turn this Group Policy off?

Now, im on a Administrator Account I believe, but I have no idea about the group policy...

Do I need to check that box that I unchecked back on? Or might it help?

To run the command prompt as administrator:

click start
type: cmd
press the right-ctrl, right-shift, and enter at the same time
