About Us
| First, I would like to give you all a little background on your legion's name. The word "Hakaishin" itself is native to the Japanese tongue, and translates into, "Destruction Gods", or "Gods of Destruction" (Hakai = Destruction, to destroy... Shin = God, Deity). The Hakaishin is actually the self-dubbed name of a United States Air Force Squadron (similar to an Army Battalion) that was known to its opponents as the Harbinger of Destruction: The 97th Combat Operations Intelligence Squadron. For those not fluent in the term, Harbinger itself is a term referring to a forerunner, or omen. This is to say, as the Squadron Commander, Lt.
