Well I dont know who is who in Jenn's as far as admins go,but i do know about a couple weeks back I was owning people in a shee and for no reason got banned.I wasnt port camping i was going head to head with other people in shees and tanks.
My ping was fine about 67-100 I was given no warning for anything I wasnt talking trash,so I dont understand why I was booted other than maybe I frustrated a admin by beating him.
I know everyone always claim they didnt do anything or they didnt deserve to be banned ,but in this case it's true,and maybe i got nailed on accident.
I was told to post this here.I posted it on jenn's island server blog and was accused of not being a real player.I assure you im real and have no hidden agenda just letting people know what happened.I have my own server and have had for about 4 years ! No bots no rules.

Over the past 30 days there have been more and more problems in Jenn's Island because of SLiMZiM and your server stats reflect that as a drop by a huge 62.3%, from 53 to 88. Not many people enjoy your server anymore because of all the problems caused by many of the YG clan, including Slim and his 'BB' (Bait & Ban) tactics.

There is also the problem of the YG monopoly which is not just unfair but it's also causing your server to become disliked. Bon Scott founded the BB clan with Whirlwind, and this has had the added effect as being a way of countering the YG madness, which has cause extra problems because now the YG boys are starting to hate BB as well. We are continually taunted and called things like "shee fags" and other such nonsense while we play. I don't listen to the BS and couldn't care less what others think, but the fact remains that there is too much bias in this clan & server. It is unfair and has become quite unappealing.

It has gotten to the stage where the YG are almost like the Jenn's Island mafia. This is of course by design, Slim actually thinks he's some kind of mobster. Note the Al Capone avatar with a baseball bat, the Tony Soprano avatar on LiveLeak (Google-SLiMZiM), the wall of bullets on his profile and the "power grabbing" and "mob tactics" on his x-fire profile.

Many YG people now share the belief that they are in control of Jenn's Island and many have claimed they have the power to have players whom they dislike banned. It is not right that a clan should be dominating a Free For All server, it is doubly not right when the leader of said clan has free reign to do whatever the hell he wants, which is ruining your server.

Your stats back this up quite appropriately.

Please, for the sake of your server, do something for a change!

Thats not exactly what whirl said to me on teamspeak. You guys are both as bad as each other.

Only pra3torian has displayed the maturity to consistently admin this server without letting the power go to his head.

Pr@3t doesn't play enough to be the only admin, there must be more than one to counter the effects of time difference. An hour or so a day for a high ranking, busy server, is not enough. Also, you're contradicting yourself by requesting admin privileges.

I'm no longer using team tactics on FFA game types for reasons mentioned above. I think a clear set of server rules should be applied disallowing this type of unfair gain. I'm still with you BB guys but will be killing you like any other player from now on.

I also want to note, on Jenn's Island 2.0 I've witnessed many old players resurfacing that have been banned on Jenn's Island. Most of them snipers from Razor's Edge and Heather's, from years ago. I've spoken to quite a few now and apparantly they were banned without warning... no surprise to me.

Slim is not technically proficient nor a skilled enough player to warrant the actions he's taken against many innocent players.

Not sure how i contradicted myself. However its a fair point that neither me or praet are active enough to do it by ourselves.

However, its also a fair point that everyone else on the server is extremely bitter, angry and/or incompetent for the most part and epitomise the image that halo players have in other gaming circles.

Players un banned Kev, please stop going afk for hours m8. Painatollah, you were the first ban on the list after the "clean slate" so a year of ban I think is long enough. and The clan ( as you contacted me and told me who you are I and it was an unprovoked ban you free too )

I hope the un banning is considered, ( I mean ALL on the list) as there is way to much shit slinging going on here, in the UK we practice the saying "innocent until proven guilty" now, I have put my neck out here on the line for all this fucking bullshit so don't make me look a cunt. Once a proper list of rules is set, then after that, and people still exhibit signs of being total trolling assholes, then there will be no crying about shit.

You got it right 100% my man! That's why I say admins must PROVE why a player is guilty and a ban is in order and not this dumb crap Slim says...my word is all that's needed. BS. Just like you banned me for crashing the server.

If you know what you're doing you can implement several things on the server to catch trolls...on Jenn's 2.0 we record all the chat logs, all the rcon commands used by admins, all the hashkeys used by each screenname (yes I can search by a hashkey and find out all the usernames one person is using - GREAT at catching impersonators!), bot detection programs, etc. You just have to have an admin that knows how to do it. I offered my services but it quickly became obvious to me that no one on jenns staff wanted my help.

But the rules list and the "innocent until proven guilty" thing has to be implemented or the server will conintue to fall apart. Slim and his BS wanna-be mob mentality is ruining it for everyone. Stop trying to be Tony Soprano in Halo and get a life seriously.
