We have added some equipment replacements to eliminate some of the more annoying, unwanted game play. We are hopeful this change will provide a better gaming experience during times when SAS members are not there to admin the server. As of yesterday, players will not be able to use optiwands, pepperball guns, less than lethal shotguns, ammo other than flash bangs for their grenade launchers, or heavy body armor. Instead they will be exchanged by the server for a flashbang, mp5, mp5, flash grenade, or light body armor. The key components of the Classic Noob Kit are no longer available. We did, however, decide to keep gas masks for the time being since without all the other crap, people tend to not abuse the masks.

We have uploaded some great basic information about how to play SWAT with greater realism and better teamwork. This will give you and your element the tools you need to stay alive longer and ultimately play more and watch less.
