I'm not sure if my word means anything but he is a good guy i have played with him on the SGC severs and other severs and he dose follow the rules but can over do it at times but he normally stops when someone asks him to but like chip said it's up to you Geek.PS he is Russian and that may be part of the problem he normally has a translator running,

not sure if my opinion matters either, but i say tack hammer, he had no control over what his nephew did, he prolly didnt even know what buttons he was pressing at the time, and never got a heads up on what he was doing wrong. TACK HAMMER!

OK. Against my better judgment, but convinced by Chipmunk, I have dropped his permanent ban to 2 months, which leaves about 1 month to go. I want better attention paid to respecting other players and admins regardless of who is using your account.

And a note to anyone making comments on ban protests:

If you have anything to say regarding events surrounding the ban or credibility or actions of the offending player(s), please post as this is important information to the protest.

However, if your post is more of a badgering or taunting comment or does not add content to aid in the decision (posts #2, 3, 6, 11, 12, and 15 did not help in this thread), then please, do not post. I will start deleting posts in future threads which means you will have wasted your time posting empty content. The good content in this thread has actually benefited the case and got the ban time changed. That is what is important.

To prevent further abuse without you knowing it, i suggest making sure that your steam password is not saved causing an auto login. This will prevent any abuse by someone that is not you. also, you should make it a point to log off steam when you are not using it. if your relatives want to play the game, or have it themselves and are just not at their place or their computer, just tell them to put their own login into steam. I am sure this can happen to anyone who shares a computer, however you were the unfortunate one to have it happen to you. So you have 1 month left to wait it out. If you truly like our servers then you shouldnt have a problem with this. Other server groups are not so forgiving.

So if you follow this little advice then you should never have this problem again and you will be able to continue playing on our servers and having fun. I do hope that you understand our position and continue playing on our servers (trouble free of course) one the ban is lifted.

figure betwen 8 and 15 june. but given the circumstances it is a light punishment. i was just feeling generous. karma and all
