I pointed out the truth, you could've overlooked it but chose not to, you started something out of nothing, you could've just asked and not said "should we tell our under 18 members to take a hike?" I'm sick of the shit you guys are giving me.

Let's all relax. I think it is clear that some of us have drifted far from others. A break may be in order and may in fact be the best thing. No one here means anything personal to anyone else. Naz, thanks a lot for everything. Know that myself and some others had a ton of respect for you and really only ever had a problem with Vato and the way he handled some things. If you are done, hopefully we can revitalize this clan some time from now. Good luck to you though. KD, I appreciate your caring. Understand that we weren't trying to give you shit. In the same way as with Naz, it was our discontent with Vato that may have come out the wrong way and I am sorry for that. I'm not ready to say we should all move on. However, it is obvious that we need hit the brakes right now.

And if anyone wants my two cents...how long has every person in this community been with the community? I've considered everyone as a group of friends who I get together with (in a manner of speaking) and play games with. I really don't care about the size of the group, I care more about the people who are in it. Everyone has been here a while, and it makes games worthwhile just to be able to play them with you guys. I can't see how a place for all of us to get together (source server) could be such a bad idea, and if you are looking for more members, what else can you do? I don't understand what's happened here and maybe it's for the best as I can put a newcomer's perspective on things. From what I have seen, it's clear that vato and naz (or at the very least naz) has come forth with a solution and right from the start it's been dumped on. This was, and still can be, a strong community. It doesn't matter how many members we have as long as we still play games together, I thought that's what the point of this was. I'm too old (but not as old as naz ) to go out and find a new group, why can't we put this one back together?

It may seem like it is that simple from the surface sharp. But alas, it is a bit more complicated. I'll give you the events as I saw them unfold. Keep in mind that if there is a solution, I'd love to explore it.

1. Vato posts a cryptic message about how Critical Demon and his brother, Zeras, need to be banned from the clan. He cited ZERAS' steam ID page as the reason(apparently he thought "support insurgency" was something other than the source mod).

2. Vato finally follows through with said banning on Critical Demon on vent after Demon posts his ALLEGED felony charge. He comes into the channel that we(myself, Bullets, Stooge, Critical, and a few others maybe) were in and very rudely told us "DON'T UNBAN HIM" in that Vato voice that makes you feel like a piece of shit.

3. I believe Stooge unbanned Demon. I don't necessarily agree, but I also know that banning people based on what their family has done would not have flown back in FLaX(oldman would be gone that's for sure)

4. Stupidly, Critical eventually uses his actual name and Vato finds out. At this point Vato decided to leave.

5. With Vato, the Vent and subsequently the site went with him. I apologized to Vato numerous times but he cannot be reasoned with. I should have saved one of his PM's that essentially cited race as one of the reasons for banning Demon.

6. We moved to GSC but everyone seemed content with sitting on two separate GSC servers. A "neutral" source server was purchased by Vato but it was not really the clan's.

7. Personally, the fact that everyone ignored Vato's unprofessional nature regarding the events began to eat away at me. To the point where I could not trust much coming from that "camp" any more.

8. Naz AND VATO picked up these servers(apparently). I trust Naz and but I simply don't trust Vato. When someone who left is till kind of leading the clan, you wonder what your own position in the clan really is, you wonder if the clan really still exists, and I think we at least have a right to question and disagree with things. We can do that and still appreciate the fact that Naz picked up the servers. By all accounts, that was the case.

I've been a part of this clan for the better part of 8 years...of course I'm going to try. I would like to hear the story from either vato or naz's perspective to get the whole picture...

and I'm not exactly sure of the timeline...I just know I was here a few years before steve (stooge) as I'm pretty sure I was the one who introduced him to the clan

By all means. The hardest thing has been getting a dialogue going with Vato. If you can, all the power to you.
