Le origini dei Drunken Reapers (DR) si perdono nell’inverno del 2014, c’è chi dice che prima volassero tanto in uno degli stormi virtuali italiani, almeno fin quando una certa spaccatura si creò nel vecchio gruppo, e numerosi giocatori decisero di cercare la loro strada.
Poi nell’autunno del 2015 poi arrivarono nuovi membri nei DR che come loro erano fuoriusciti da un’altra realtà di simulazione militare, nello specifico del simulatore Arma 3, questi si integrarono nel gruppo DR e formarono una nova sezione.

mazione dei giocatori, gestita dagli istruttori, su cui spiccavano su tutti i membri Ufficiali e Sottufficiali delle FF.AA. Italiane, sia in servizio attivo che in congedo, ma che nonostante la propria esperienza e conoscenza, sarebbero stati in grado di creare un ambiente amichevole, sereno e goliardico, e che presto avrebbe portato la sezione a crescere fino a diventare la principale sezione dei gruppo DR.
Purtroppo dal 2018 in poi alcuni dei membri fondatori della sezione, a partire dal responsabile di sezione, dovettero allontanasi per problematiche relative alla vita reale, ma presto sarebbero arrivati nuovi giocatori tra cui il futuro responsabile che avrebbero ridato slancio alla sezione, arrivando ad avare al picco quasi quaranta giocatori che si alternavano in gioco.

The origins of the Drunken Reapers (DR) date back to the winter of 2014. Rumor has it that the founders previously flew with an Italian virtual squadron until a rift emerged within the old group, prompting several players to strike out on their own.
In the autumn of 2015, new members joined the DR—players who, like the founders, had left another military simulation group (specifically one focused on *Arma 3*). They integrated into the DR and formed a new section.
This new section grew over time, launching a player training program led by instructors—many of whom were active-duty or retired officers and NCOs from the Italian Armed Forces. Despite their professional expertise, they fostered a friendly, relaxed, and lighthearted atmosphere. This environment soon propelled the section to become the DR group's primary division.
Unfortunately, from 2018 onwards, some of the section's founding members—including the section leader—had to step away due to real-life obligations. However, new players soon arrived—including the future section leader—revitalizing the group and eventually reaching a peak of nearly forty active players.
