The fake server problem is a GT problem, on the game itself there's been certain steps taken to prevent people from falling for it, the issue with i see with GT is that the administration isn't active enough (Can't blame them, they're probably pretty bussy with more important stuff) and steps to prevent or slow down the upload of fake servers aren't being taken.

Mods can't ban servers AFAIK, only admins can.

I never said that. It's an issue that needs to be addressed, noone is denying that.

Killing a website will not solve the problems inherent in Counter Strike.

In any case, the question as to whether the website should continue or close, is better left to, and will be left to, the owners of the website.

All fake servers use "amxmodx_version 1.8.1.3746".

There are many solutions, mate but as I said "ads are running"...
