It doesn't specify whether it's the public/external/WAN IP address or the servers locally assigned IP address - I had gotten the impression that GameTracker would query GTmurmur directly and not the Murmur server, which would then sort of redirect that query to GTmurmur, so I set gtmurmur_ip to my external IP address. I have everything running as intended now - even threw a quick batch script together and moved it to the startup folder, so that GTmurmur will be executed automatically in case the server computer reboots. Thank you both so much for your patience and support! But perhaps it should be added in the readme that gtmurmur_ip needs to be a local address ![]() |

No problem, we're glad to help. Its great to hear that things are setup and working properly now.
I understand the confusion based on your setup. Thanks for the additional feedback. Using a local IP is the general rule for server software when you're behind a router. A diagram on how GTMurmur uses the network would have helped greatly in this case. Best regards. |
