Obama Calls for Government-funded Game Violence Research
On Wednesday, the 16th of January, 2013, President Obama prompted Congress to begin researching video game violence. He would like the Congress of the USA to determine if there is a link between video game violence and real life violence for young people.

This important study would be part of a $500 million plan for research and actions targeted at gun control.

Specifically, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will be using $10 million of the funds to determine if violence in video games, television, movies, and other sources of entertainment are resulting in increased gun violence.
