From when I've first started playing Halo; http://www.gametracker.com/games/halo/forum.php I found competitive gametypes to be fun. The community may be slowly dying, what's left is just a fraction of good players and the others are yet to understand the game. Might I also add, the temperament of most players is atrocious. Nevertheless, the game is about to reach drinking age (almost 18 years old). You'd still find a handful of decent servers with decent players. The variety of gametypes make Halo unique from other games. (There's even racing in Halo). It's definitely a game to keep in mind. There's games like: (1) Quake (2) Counter-strike (1.6 & Global Offensive etc) From my perspective, I liked the competitive environment and it depends on what you like. Halo, Counter-Stike & Quake - Both fun and competitive. |
