i say take only raptors! the dragon can be shot down with minigun, avrils, shock rifles and lightning guns. should do.

a biotank? well, even if it cant do anything against another bio - it still doesnt get hurt! plus the range indeed is low to midrange, but remember it's a small map, PLUS it can shoot the goop over the containers in the corridors or on top of the bridges to take down an enemy node with one shot without being visible/attackable for the enemy! plus a guy that takes some effort with a paladin to destroy a node and shield his teammates why they build it up is shot down be 2 bio goops, 1 for the shield and 1 for the pala... that's again not fair... ppl should concentrate on their tactics with the ECE-vehicles! plus the map becomes WAY less spammy this way.

It's done.

I am going to release it today, finally. Had some problems with frame drops, basicly the node beacons from onslaughtspecials drops the fps with 4 - 8 frames, so i switched some nodes with originals.

Map launched on 32 players.

Post you'r opinion here. Some onslaughtspecial features like, no shielded nodes doesn't work online and also tagged turrets.

I was impudent a bit and replaced (outside the map) the default link setup

with this one to spread the action over the whole map:


From my point of view, the "beacons" are urgly, useless, artificial, laggy and tutorial, but some players like them. The problem is, that I can't turn off them completely - if I type "ShowNodeBeacons", only the "out of sight" disappear.

The vehicles layout seems to be much better than before, even the Phoenix is fine if it's hard to get it.

Regarding the new core - it looks awesome, the lift etc., but how to kill the attacker there quickly? The matches ended in few minutes, because one guy smashed the core unmolested there.

Did you try to enter
ShowNodeBeacons 0
into the console? Maybe that command works better. I know that I could turn them completely back to the original beacons when I tested it in Rail.

And the Techcom logo was at least in the version that I got from VK transparent at the sides. Don't know if he changed it or if you just have a graphic bug and that would be the fallback material.


I was sceptic about the Core as well. Also not very bot friendly. The whole map in general. And with all these open places is it much harder to get the ZonePortals to actually cull something so that it optimizes the network performance.

Thanks for the "0" tip. The core has a huge "wow" effect, but wasn't the previous version better? Simple, accessible for defenders and their shells. The defence needs to be solved anyway.

Type it again. There are three modes and without a parameter it just cycles them.
