Whitby is where the author Bram Stoker visited and inspired him to write the novel about a strange creature called Dracula landing at Whitby .... hence lots of rumours about whether there was any truth in it or not !! ?? oooeer missus !!

Well im on limit as a tinroof painter have done this hard work 15 years. So im retiring on this proff when i hit 40 thats on 2 years= 2 summers to work hard. Cant do it after 40 as my places are broken like all roof men does when they hit 40. But i dont miss those days either when this work is over... Maybe ill travel with my family to see your Captain Cooks nest...LOL

Tile roofs i see a little mold starting to grow there=needs to maintenace with wash... Cant help my self im tin roof painter/sandblaster as my prof.

By the way ... i would just like to explain that the title isn't a quote from Captain Cook ... lol, although he might well have said the same.
Jus that as a young sailer/navigator he learnt his trade at Whitby all those years ago when it was a big sailing & whaling port, he came from nearby Gt.Ayton I believe.
